Edwards Greengrocer & Deli
I'll be the first to admit that I was lured out to Edwards Greengrocer & Deli in Strathfieldsaye by the rumour of miniature yo-yos that has been circling Twitter of late. They completely lived up to the hype, but I found so much more than these tasty little treats. Firstly, I always keep a mental note of where to find Harcourt apples in Bendigo (check)...Fair Trade choccies in gorgeous wrapping (check)...T2 teas (check)...take home lasagnas (check)...lemon butter (check)...yummy regional Victorian fresh produce (check)...friendly staff (check - Hi Mandy...lovely to meet you & discuss Twitter & Uni days!). Honestly I was so mesmerised by everything, and couldn't decide what to take photos of so basically I photographed the entire store. I did have a "angels choir" movie moment when I stood in front of the fridge and realised that they also stocked Maggie Beer Ice Cream, and yes the `Burnt Fig, Honeycomb & Caramel' flavour is included in the selection. Also, whatever brand the tea is in the below pictures top right, I am in love with their package design & even though I don't drink tea I wanted to take one of each home and display them somehow in my kitchen. You will have to visit their website to see the many other (coffee, cheese etc) things on offer, or follow them on Twitter @EdwardsGreengro. Trust me, worth the visit. Found at Blucher Street, next to the Post Office. To those of you who live in Strathfieldsaye, you're very lucky to have this store just around the corner :)
