The Best Brownies Recipe Ever
A real fan of baking and brownies will already have their own favourite recipe...but will they have this sweet 8x10 print professing their love of brownies? I'm giving one away so read on if you'd like this to be yours...oh plus two of my favourite brownie recipes are also below :)
OK so it's probably not as important as being honest and kind...but being able to bake a good batch of brownies is almost up there in my opinion! I had the below previous post in mind when I designed this print...click photo to visit...

My sister happens to be married to someone who takes baked goods very seriously and he thinks this is the best recipe ever...
Brownies from Bill's Basics...
Bill's Brownies (Makes 12)
350g caster sugar (1.5 cups)
80g cocoa powder (2/3 cup)
60g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 eggs lightly beaten
200g unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
200g dark chocolate roughly chopped (Nestle Old Gold Dark is a family favourite)
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius. Line a 22cm square baking tin with baking paper. Stir together the sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Mix in the eggs, butter and vanilla until combined...and then mix in the chocolate. Pour into tin and bake for 40-45 mins. Leave to cool slightly in the tin then turn out onto a wire rack. Cut into squares & serve.

Whatever your favourite may be, a true brownie fan understands the sentiment behind this saying which might not be exactly what Ralph Waldo Emerson had in mind :)
