Are You An Adorable Dork?
Introducing a monochrome collection of prints that is both whimsical and bold...featuring the natural imperfections of hand drawn elements, paint, texta & wood...combined to celebrate the adorable dorks, superheroes and explorers of this world.
So I designed a collection of black and white prints because, well, I love monochrome and I don't think I'm alone there! I was trying to come up with an especially fancy sounding name for the collection but all I can think of is "Avery & the Adorkable Monsters" :) The name Avery in the above print is a placeholder for the name of a little explorer you would like to customise this print for...and it's now available in a bunch of woodsy colours!
Totes Adorkable 8x10: whimsical watercolour lettering combined with painted wooden spectacle frames celebrates the perfect combination of dorky and adorable :) // I just love that word "adorkable"...and I'm also loving my new thick rimmed black frames that I just bought in real life...so this seemed like a natural next step...plus I wanted to try painted lettering.
I Believe in Superheroes 8x10: bold texta scribbles and lettering encourages believing in superheroes instead of monsters. // I wanted to do something to counteract the whimsical..so big bold scribbles with a textured marker (or as we Aussies like to call them, textas!) it was.
Be Brave & Explore 8x10 - Personalised: includes hand drawn elements, wood grain & paint splatters. Text reads "be brave and explore. run barefoot and climb. build forts. cubbies. listen to the rain on the roof of your tent. watch the stars shoot across the night sky. feel the sand between your toes & dream of your tomorrows." // You've seen this one before but it hadn't been officially listed anywhere yet...I decided to start out with a soft warm grey to balance out the crispness of black and white. // Choose the name of your favourite brave explorer to include on this one, Avery is an example name only!
