Ink. Paper. Love.
A prize ribbon kit, book of notes, wrapping paper designed in Melbourne, printable post-its and thank-you cards....all paper, go ahead and fuel your stationery/craft project addiction :)
Whilst my day-to-day life is very much driven by paper/fonts/cardstock/photoshop at the moment (wedding invitations!) I thought I would share some gorgeous paper related things I've come across recently :)
- Shanna Murray and Cecelia Hayes have collaborated on this `Prize Ribbon Kit' project complete with a 19 page step-by-step download if you'd like to do the same. The colours are just amazing, and I love how semi-transparent paper (or vellum) is making a comeback lately.
- Abby Seymour is a professional bookbinder, illustrator & print maker from Melbourne...and you can buy her lovely pieces which include homewares, jewellery, prints/cards & wrapping paper online or via selected stockists. I just cannot go past kraft paper with inked designs lately...in fact if I could only ever buy wrap in one colour for the rest of my life, decorated kraft would be it! Check out her about page, I think I spy some Ink and Spindle in the next room!
- Love this little collection from Oh Hello Friend called `Book of Notes Kit'...includes envelopes, stickers, tags, and other sweet little extras so you can make your own book of notes...here's some inspiration...mini envelopes are the best!
- How awesome is this idea by How About Orange...a template for you to stick post-it notes onto, and print cute messages...just make sure you stick the the right way for you printer feeder :)
- These are sweet little thank you cards by Whit & Whistle...love everything about them...the speckled card stock, the typefaces, the colours.
Could I use the word `love' any more in one blog post? ;) Last but not least, I saw this short animation by Disney called Paperman before the movie "Wreck It Ralph"...make the most of the link whilst you can as it's not going to be around forever...especially now that it just won an Oscar. Speaking of, I still haven't gotten around to watching the Oscar's...so thanks to Kelly from The Tea Children for letting me know! Anyway, its an amazing little animation and worth checking out :)
